Hey there!  Long time, no speak!  I’m so sorry for the lack of posts. I’ve been away for a few days and have been swamped at work.  I need a better way to manage it all.  Anyway, to start off the week, I’ve got a giveaway you’re gonna love…

I went through a phase about two years ago where I had an extreme nail art addiction. I had British flag nails, ice cream cones, gold spikes…the whole nine yards. I still rock my nail art but with a little bit more simplicity now.

Celebrity Makeup Artist Mary Phillips shares with us how he created Catherine’s smokey pastel look for the 2010 Tony Awards. 

For a smoky eye effect, Mary applied Elizabeth Arden Color Intrigue Eyeshadow Duo in Black Currant and Color Intrigue Eyeshadow Duo in Peacock from lid to brow to give the eye that extra pop.

To create a pink glow, Mary applied Ceramide Cream Blush in Pink on the apples of Catherine’s cheeks. She then applied Ceramide Plump Perfect Lipstick in Perfect Blossom for soft, natural lips. To finish the look Mary coated the lashes with Double Density Maximum Volume Mascara in Black for a dramatic touch.
